Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and creative Camera Person to join our team and produce captivating YouTube videos focused on luxury real estate for our popular YouTube Channel. See our YouTube Channel here – https://www.youtube.com/c/guptaandsen.
As a DOP / Camera Person, you will be responsible for capturing high-quality footage of luxury properties, showcasing their unique features and creating visually stunning content. The ideal candidate will be proficient in operating professional-grade mirrorless cameras and also possess a thorough understanding of different lenses and also know how to operate gimbals.
Cameraperson must ideally own a high quality mirrorless camera + lenses and a gimbal.
Responsibilities:
- Camera Operation: Utilize your expertise in operating professional-grade mirrorless cameras to capture high-quality footage of luxury real estate properties. Ensure proper exposure, focus, and framing to create visually appealing and engaging videos.
- Equipment Ownership: Possess and maintain your own camera, lenses, and gimbal, meeting the required standards for capturing high-resolution video footage. Familiarity with different camera models, lens options, and stabilizing equipment is essential.
- Footage Composition: Apply your keen eye for detail and composition to capture footage that highlights the unique features, architecture, and design elements of luxury real estate properties. Utilize creative camera angles, movement, and framing techniques to enhance the overall visual appeal.
- Lighting and Exposure: Understand and apply lighting techniques to ensure optimal exposure and capture the true essence of luxury properties. Adjust lighting setups as needed to compensate for challenging lighting conditions and create aesthetically pleasing videos.
- Post-production Collaboration: Collaborate with the video and sound editing team to provide them with raw footage, ensuring that the captured material meets the desired specifications.
- Real Estate Knowledge: Develop a strong understanding of the luxury real estate market, including property features, architectural styles, and shooting trends. Apply this knowledge to effectively capture the essence of each property and present it in a visually compelling manner.
Qualifications:
- Equipment Ownership: Must own a professional-grade camera, lenses, and gimbal that meet the requirements for shooting high-resolution videos.
- Experience: Previous experience in shooting real estate videos is highly desirable. A portfolio or samples of past work showcasing your videography skills would be advantageous.
- Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in operating professional-grade cameras, understanding different lenses, and utilizing stabilizing equipment like gimbals. Knowledge of lighting techniques and exposure control is essential.
- Creativity: A strong sense of composition, attention to detail, and the ability to think creatively when capturing footage. Proven ability to create visually appealing videos that evoke emotions and engage viewers.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively convey creative ideas and work closely with the editing team.
- Time Management: The ability to meet deadlines, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
